Just how dangerous were Raptor Dinosaurs? Were the likes of Velociraptor, Utahraptor, Deinonychus, or Dromaeosaurus truly among the most dangerous animals to live?
According to Hollywood, and especially the franchise Jurassic Park they surely were.
However how close to the truth is this idea?
At moment we just don’t know. Though what we do know paints them as much more “real” animals and not super predators.

The Tyrannosaur Chronicles has just presented a fictional encounter with a pack of these tiny theropods, one tempered with a little more on science then the usual JP inspried portrayal though. Bringing them down to size (literally… as most Raptors weren’t much higher then the average humans hips!). Here are the links to part 1 and part 2.

Not that this means it is devoid of action and excitement! These were still very dangerous animals!
It also weighs in on realted topics like Raptor packs possibily taking on mega fauna prey.
So for a good old fashion injection of Dinosaur action fun pop by and check out both parts (1 here and 2 here).

And it’s a miracle Traumador or anyone would have survived. I mean….WOW! Even I’m still impressed with the Dromaeosaurs today. They truly were amazing predators, yet they were the real thing and not something out of Science Fiction like JP’s "Super Predators" as you so eloquently put it, Traum. Anywho, I’m just glad you and Prehistoric Insanity decided to bring them down to size both literally and metaphorically. Jurassic Park may be one of the best Dinosaur films ever made (Arguably THE Best ever made!!), yet, for entertainment value some of the truth gets lost and the public can’t tell what’s fact or fiction about these animals. So, Excellent work you guys at Prehistoric Insanity.
