So... I've got a project for my Intro to Forensics class due in about two weeks now, and I decided to do it on how forensics are used in paleontology. I've found some sites that I can use, but I'm not sure if it will be enough. Does anyone have a suggestion for good books or websites at all related to this topic?

Things related to footprints, bite marks, etc. would be good. I just can't seem to find a lot for some reason... There are certainly a lot of photos out there, but the actual information is the problem.

Thanks!

Would contacting a museum of this sort directly be a good idea?

Hm... I didn't think of that, but I don't know. The only museum with a good collection of fossils (or museum in general) anywhere nearby is the Carnegie, but I don't know if I'd want to bother them. It's for a forensics class, not one relating to paleontology.

A have actually found a few more sites by looking for pictures first instead, and it doesn't have to be a very long paper. Hopefully I'll have enough.

Probably too late for your project, however the Natural History Museums in Oregon, denver, and New Mexico seem to be very helpful.

(I hope you did well!)
