Kaitlyn,

Humans and dinosaurs have no relation. Humans are related to ancient hominids, which originated in Europe around 135,000 years ago. Dinosaurs evolved from some of the same reptiles that survived the Permian Extinction, which was the biggest extinction that ever took place. Dinosaurs are reptiles, and humans are mammals. Dinosaurs, however, are related to birds. In fact, they're so closely related, you could look out your window right now and see a nest of dinosaur right in a tree in your backyard! The similarities between dinosaurs and birds is extremely stunning. In fact, some scientists think birds evolved from dinosaurs. In contrast, humans, as stated earlier, came from hominids. So even though there is no relation between humans and dinosaurs, there is a relation between dinosaurs and birds, and hominids and humans.

all life on this planet has common ancestors. To say we are not related to the dinosaurs would mean that we came from an extraterestial source. Even then the statement that all life in the universe is related applies. This is the basics of life tracking it back to the begining of time. All I think I know is that the earth is older than me, but my reallity started with my birth so did my reality exist before I was born? that answer is no!

we all came from a single celled organism and if you have an argument with that then read a book which would mean if all life strated from that organism that would mean yes are somewhere related to dinosaurs so i guess i win your welcome jamie i saved you

Not directly, and not for a very very long time. The probelm is that stuff like cladistics is not an exact science, and it's based on very very small sample size. But broadly speaking, we share a lot of the same DNA.
Mind you we share about 65% with a bananna.

But using the science as a guide line, we can see that the lines which eventually became mammals and dinosaurs were a whole lot closer in the carboniforous/permian ages than they are now. Anything beyond that is extroplating a little too much for my tastes.
