I've been thinking of planning a vacation trip centered around visiting famous fossil sites and visiting fossil museums. I'm wondering what the best fossil sites and museums are to visit. Any recommendations would be helpful. On the reverse, are there any you visited and thought did not live up to your expectation?

The Royal Tyrell Museum near Drumheller, Alberta is well worth a trip. If you're American, your dollars go a long way up here, too...
