I found this fossil loose in a creek bed in middle Tennessee. it has chew marks from some scavenger/predator as well as where the bone is broken there is visible marrow.

Good pictures and welcome to the forum! Thats a great looking fossil it might be a rare one. Ill get raptor lewis to look at this I unfortonetly have no clue what it is. Its bone though.

That awesome fossil specimen you have there seems to be a vertebra.! Although, if I knew the age of the strata, I might have a better idea as to the animal! Either way, it's an AWESOME find!!

I know you like your fossil, but show some restraint. Lick it, smell it, taste it, stare at it, but no chewing.
