Hey, Random Scientist Inc. here. I want to let you guys know that until I get permission to write in the blog, I'll be posting dinosaur find updates regularly.....or at least every time something interesting comes up. Let's get to the subject..

Recently in Asia, a predecessor of T. Rex was found. Named Raptorex, it was built exactly like a Tyrannosaurus, except it was only a little taller than a fully grown man. It lived 60 million years before Tyrannosaurus, which would put it in the Early Cretaceous, about 125 MYA.

I think that find is pretty interesting, because although it lived after Guanlong (T. Rex's earliest known ancestor), it provides us with valuable clues as to how Tyrannosaurus Rex evolved.

One problem, Raptorex lived AFTER Guanlong wucaii. Paleontologists say it is on the DIRECT line to Tyrannosaurus rex! Still AWESOME!!

There, I fixed it. I guess I was tired yesterday, and I made a typo. Sorry about that!
