I don't know if it's the last few months, but I bought some fun paleo books recently.
Palaeobiology II, edited by Derek Briggs and Peter Crowther, from Blackwell Scientific, was actually published in 2001 but the paperback edition is new this summer. It has short articles by recognized experts on just about everything in paleontology.
Dinosaurs of the Air, by Greg Paul, from Johns Hopkins Press, is fairly new. You don't have to believe everything Paul says to like the wealth of information he presents, not to mention the great illustrations.
