4600 meters above the sea level there is a dinosaur trackway in Ancash, Peru. Large and small theropod dinosaurs as well as ornithopods, and probably sauropods, walked along an ancient sea shore 120 million years ago. 12 types of dinosaurs, fossils of icthyosaurs, sauroptherygia, pterosaurs, fishes, crocs, turtles, and other little critters seem to have been discovered on the site. This place may be the first evidence of ornithopods on the western margin of Gondwana. This amazing site includes formations from the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Pleistocene of Peru.
