A question for all you Mesozoic mavens out there. Marine reptiles developed sclerotic rings around their eyes as a way of adjusting to high pressure during deep dives, correct? Well, do whales have such strcutures and, if not, how do they adjust to pressure without ruining their eyes?

Many archosaurs had sclerotic rings: dinosaurs and (I think) pterosaurs, as well as icthyosaurs. Sauropods, tyrannosaurs, and hadrosaurs have sclerotic rings, and aren't exactly known for deep dives.

well, i know that they have modified eyes -shape different from that of other mammals. I have no picture or description right now, but AFAICR, some parts are thicker - and intraoccular presure may be regulated as
